Frequently Asked Questions
What is the MOZA AB6 Flight Simulator Base used for?
The MOZA AB6 Flight Simulator Base is a force feedback joystick base designed to provide realistic control forces in flight simulators. It connects to a compatible flight stick and simulates aerodynamic forces, trim effects, and resistance, helping pilots experience more accurate aircraft handling during simulated flights.
Which flight simulators are compatible with the MOZA AB6 Flight Simulator Base?
The MOZA AB6 Flight Simulator Base works with major PC flight simulators such as Microsoft Flight Simulator, X-Plane, and DCS World. According to the manufacturer’s specifications, the base connects through USB and integrates with supported simulator software that provides force feedback data.
Does the MOZA AB6 support force feedback in flight simulators?
Yes, the MOZA AB6 features a force feedback system that reproduces control forces felt in real aircraft. This allows pilots to feel aerodynamic resistance, trim changes, and flight conditions through the stick, improving immersion and providing more realistic aircraft control feedback.
Can different flight sticks be used with the MOZA AB6 base?
Yes, the MOZA AB6 Flight Simulator Base is designed to support compatible flight stick grips from the MOZA ecosystem. According to the manufacturer’s design specifications, this modular system allows users to pair the base with different grips depending on their aircraft type or simulation preferences.
What makes the MOZA AB6 Flight Simulator Base realistic for simulation?
The MOZA AB6 uses a high-torque direct drive motor and precision sensors to generate detailed force feedback effects. According to the manufacturer’s specifications, this system allows the base to simulate changing aerodynamic forces and control resistance for more accurate aircraft handling in supported simulators.

Good evening,
First of all flightsimzone.com is an incredible good company!
Always answers emails, always looking for solutions.
I never had a good Compagnie like they are, especially thanks to Alexander for his support and efforts!
The Moza MTQ and especially the AB6 force feedback flightstick is so verry nice to fly with and give great immersion, what an incredible experience!
My rig is complete but i thought this already several times in the past.....😀
Kind regards from the Netherlands,
Therry
Mal sehen was die Zeit bringt.
I preordered the Moza AB6. I had little news in the beginning but the customer support was responsive. The product is really good, delivery is effective. This Joystick is a must have for every sim pilots !
After waiting quite a long time for delivery, I was finally able to fly with the Moza AB6.
My first impression after unpacking it was very satisfying. Exceptional build quality and perfectly packaged.
Assembly was easy. Setting it up for the flight simulator (MSFS 2020) and in the Moza Cockpit app was just as easy. Unfortunately, there are currently no presets for this base, but I'm sure some will be offered in time. Nevertheless, it's no problem to find the right settings with a little trial and error.
The feeling when flying is simply incomparable to a joystick without force feedback.
The forces are sufficient for my needs and I get very accurate feedback. It just feels realistic, and that's what matters to me. I can't go back now.
Personally, I don't really need the lighting on the device, but it can be adjusted or deactivated in the software as desired. For people who don't have a separate thrust control, the two sliders are a useful alternative. However, I find them not precise enough due to their size. The buttons on the sides, on the other hand, are very useful.
One thing does bother me a little, though. It's not really the cogging that other users have complained about. Rather, I find the rattling noises annoying when the stick vibrates at low frequencies. For example, at low RPM after starting the engine. As soon as I touch the stick, it stops. But since I'm in the air most of the time anyway, it bothers me not too much and might be easily sorted out by dailing the intensity of the effect back a notch.
All in all, I'm still more than satisfied, especially for this price, as I didn't want to spend the money for the bigger AB9.
